While deployed, our service men and women put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms. They miss their families, their homes, and the lifestyle that we take for granted. But despite the danger, they proudly due their duties.
St. Michael's Soldier's is dedicated to ensuring that their sacrifices are recognized.
What We Do
St. Michael's Soldiers brings a little bit of home to our troops with our "Home Sweet Home" boxes, which are lovingly filled with needed and requested items like toiletries, snacks, and personal items that we box and ship all over the world to our deployed troops.
We welcome and honer our troops returning home with our Hero's Welcome Home Celebration that includes an escorted parade through town, filled with local police and state troopers, deputies, patriot guard riders, bike clubs, civilians and local fire departments. The perfect way to say "Thank you, and welcome home!"
St. Michael's Soldiers also supports our returning local wounded troops with financial assistance to help make ends meet during treatment and rehabilitation. We also provide small services, like running errands and arranging transportation to appointments. Because everyone needs some recreation, St. Michael's Soldiers also provides opportunities to go to concerts and sporting events that include backstage or sideline passes, and arranges meets and greets with the performers and athletes.
Because St. Michael's Soldiers is a not-for-profit group, none of this would happen without the donation of time and resources by many charitable people. Won't you consider helping?
"St. Michael's Soldiers has done so much for me and my family, and they've never asked for anything in return. They just offer help and love."
